Taking Care of Your Skin

Skin care is a real THING! Mary Kay has caught onto this wave of understanding and making products accordingly. This is why we are having a fabulous RESURGENCE in our iconic 57 year brand. Mary Kay is transparent; we use high quality ingredients from botanicals to our 3rd party certified MK Naturally line.

Passionately helping you achieve beautiful skin

A major skin care movement is definitely in the works.  Many of us have realized skin care is more than just cleansing and moisturizing.

With so many options on the market, how do you know what’s best for you? I’m here to help!

As an iconic 57  year old brand, Mary Kay offers high-quality ingredients at an affordable price.

Let me put my 25 years of experience to work to help you customize your skin care routine to meet your goals!!

Step One: Cleansing

Wash your face morning and night.

If you have dry skin, be sure to use a cleanser that is gentle on your skin to preserve whatever moisture is there. If you have oily skin, you may find that you need to cleanse a bit more and that you can use a hardier cleanser.

At night,  cleansing your face gets rid of all the pollution, sunscreen and makeup that has collected on your skin.

Step Two: Exfoliating

There are two types of exfoliator: Physical and Chemical.

Physical exfoliation  is like microdermabrasion or  a charcoal mask to get rid of dead skin.

Chemical exfoliant is a liquid or cream that glides on, and has much more positive long-term results. Some exfoliants include AHAs and BHAs, which are chemicals that can clean deep down into your pores.

This sounds complicated, but it’s so simple…stick with me

Step Three: Serums and Treatments

Serums are skins little helpers.  Depending on what skin type you are, dry, oily combination or normal – will determine which serum is best for you.  It is pretty easy once you know your skin type and what you want to achieve to get glowing skin!

Do you want a serum that will help you with more even skin tone, anti-aging, or smaller pores – lifting and toning?

You decide!

Step Four: Eye Cream

Major benefits from using tested and proven eye cream:

Wrinkle Reduction:  A lot of young women in their early to mid-twenties are advised

Skin Texture:  Skin around the eyes is highly sensitive

Moisturized Skin:  Eye creams are essentially, a specialized type of moisturizer.

Step Five: Moisturizer

Why is moisturizing important?

Moisturizing is an important step to maintain your skin’s healthy cells and to protect it from irritation.

People who moisturize faithfully in their youth are much more likely to have beautiful complexions when they’re older.
